What is a Community Vision Process?

A Community Vision Process is a document designed to guide the future actions of a community. It presents a vision for the future, with long-term goals and objectives for all activities that affect the local government. Usually looks 10 - 20 years in the future.

How will the public engagement activities respond to COVID-19?

Public engagement is a critical element of MySoutheast planning. The community engagement strategy incorporates a few changes in response to safety guidelines established by the State of Ohio. First, the project schedule was adjusted to avoid personal contact during the initial quarantine period. Second, several virtual engagement opportunities were added to provide community feedback without physical contact. Lastly, large in-person events were divided into multiple activities with fewer participants and cleaning protocols were added to limit the potential spread of infection.
